Quantifiers + اسم های غیر قابل شمارش : این معرف ها مثل less, least, much با اسم های غیر قابل شمارش استفاده میشوند.

این determiner معمولا در سوالات و جملات منفی بکار میرود.

Little , a little
این معرف های اسمی قبل از اسامی غیر قابل شمارش استفاده میشوند. Little معنی منفی مثل scarcely any is available دارد ولی a little یعنی مقدار کم.
I got very little sleep last night with those noises upstairs and downstairs.
I can’t get married as I have very little money.
There is a little cheese on your upper lip.
Why are you frying the big fish in a little olive oil?
(مثبت- مقدار روغن کم است اما بنظر میرسد کافیست..)

این معرف ها شامل a bit of, a great deal of, a large amount of هستند.
