فعل + ing بعنوان صفت
این ساختار فعل + ing بعنوان صفت استفاده میشود تا اسمی را به ما معرفی کند وبعنوان یک صفت قبل از اسم می آید.
Examples:
We are running short of cooking oil.
I have to get another woodworking tool.
صفت های این شکلی ( فعل + ing بعنوان صفت )یکی از کارهای زیر را انجام میدهند:
الف) صفت های ing دار ( فعل + ing بعنوان صفت) به ما میگویند که اتفاقی همچنان در حال رخ دادن است .
Examples:
What has become of my missing kitten?
Some countries are experiencing a dwindling population due to very low birth rates.
There are people who doubt the disappearing rain forest contributes to global warming.
ب) صفت های ing دار به ما نشان میدهند که چطور چیزی بر ما تاثیر میگذارد.
Examples:
It was a very tiring day at the workplace.
It’s amazing that the university student is only 16.
That noise he’s making is getting annoying.
فعل + ing صفتی ، بعد از موارد زیر می آید:
فعل کمکی:
It was a disturbing dream I had last night.
It is a polling day, today.
قید:
The movie was very disappointing.
What she said to him was deliberately insulting.
فعل + ing بعنوان صفت بعد از صفت یا ضمیر ملکی:
We really appreciate your helping to milk the cows.
I can’t understand his behaving in a strange manner whenever there is a full moon.
She has arranged for our going over for a game of mahjong.
در درس قبل با present participle اشنا شدیم:
- وقتی فعل + ing میشود present participle ساخته میشود که معمولا بعد از فعل کمکی می آید تا مضارع مستمر بسازد.، این نوع مضارع بیانگر اتفاقاتیست که درحال حاضر در حال رخ دادن می باشند.
Examples:
Three balloons are rising steadily into the sky.
A noisy crowd is watching two cocks fight in a cockpit.
The burglars were stealing from drawers.
در این جملات rising , watching ,stealing ، (وجه التزامی حال فعل) present participle هستند.
و در درس بعد با gerund اشنا میشویم:
Gerund شکل اسمی فعل است که از فعل + ing ساخته میشود و مثل اسم عمل کند.
Example: It seems none of them likes my singing. (singing =gerund.) Gerund
معمولا بعد از یک فعل می آید و حرف اضافه بین gerund و فعل قرار نمیگیرد
