اسم مفعول در زبان انگلیسی
در درس قبل درمورد participle : اینکه چه هست و چه کاربردی دارد و همچنین present participle خواندیم. در این درس با past participle اشنا خواهیم شد.
4) past participle
Past participle ها با اضافه کردن پسوند ed به ریشه فعل های با قاعده(fire – fired, jump – jumped, move – moved ) و یا اضافه کردن پسوند های دیگر به فعل های بی قاعده be – been; feel – felt, hide – hidden))
و یا حتی تغییر شکلشان fight – fought, see – saw, teach – taught).) ساخته میشوند.
Past participle فعالیت تمام شده ای در گذشته را نشان میدهد. و باید بعد از فعل کمکی have (have, has, had) بیاید تا زمان های کامل (perfect ) مجهول و معلوم را بسازد.
Past participle همچنین ممکن است بعنوان صفت برای توصیف اسم یا ضمایر بکار برود و در این صورت مثل صفت عمل میکند و صفت participial نامیده میشود.
Past participle استفاده شده در زمان کامل معلوم
برای ساخت زمان کامل ، past participle بعد از فعل های کمکی has, have ، had می آید.
مثال:
She has broken another of my glasses. (Present perfect)
Many passersby have accepted the leaflets that we are handing out. (Present perfect)
The hospital had already discharged her when we arrived to visit her. (Past perfect)
By the end of this month, her sister will have given birth to her seventh child. (Future perfect)
پارتیسیپل زمان گذشته استفاده شده در زمان کامل مجهول
فقط past participle برای ساخت زمان های مجهول بکار میرود. Past participle باید بلافاصله بعد از فعل کمکی می آید. در مثال های زیر فعل کمکی و past participle پررنگ هستند.
مثال:
She is given the nickname ‘Chatterbox’ because she talks much more than others. (Present tenseزمان حال ،)
The children are paid to carry banners reading ‘The world will end soon!’ (Present tenseزمان حال، )
The injured are being airlifted to the nearest hospital. (Present continuous tenseزمان حال مستمر، )
The two have been told to keep quiet in the library. (Present perfect tenseزمان حال کامل ،)
He was reprimanded for using a four-letter word. (Past tenseزمان گذشته، )
He had been warned not to keep the porcupine as pet. (Past perfect tenseزمان گذشته کامل ، )
Painting of the doghouse will have been completed by the time the dog arrived. (Future perfect tenseزمان آینده کامل، )
پارتیسیپل زمان گذشته به عنوان صفت
Past participle بعنوان صفتی که اسمی را توصیف میکند و صفت participial نامیده میشود و معولا قبل از اسم موصوفش قرار میگیرد. صفت های participial پررنگ نوشته شده است.
مثال:
